This ring is hand sculpted from wax, bearing the US Navy Torpedomen's Mate insignia and angular band. It is then hand cast in brass or silver, and hand finished to a mirror shine. Brass will develop a patina, to restore simply buff with a jewelry care cloth or shine with a brass polish. This can also be cast in tarnish resistant .935 Argentium Silver, which has a higher silver content and much greater tarnish resistance than sterling silver.
